NAGSIMULA nang mag-shooting si KC Concepcion last Wednesday para sa debut movie niya sa Star Cinema, na kung saan ay kapareha niya si Richard Gutierrez.


Excited and at the same time ay kinabahan si KC sa pagsalang sa movie cameras. Si Joyce Bernal ang direktor ng first film ng panganay ni Sharon Cuneta.


Siyempre pa, todo naman ang encouragement na ibinigay ng mother niyang si Sharon Cuneta, huh! Kumbaga, mother knows best at aware naman si KC sa karanasan ng mother niya sa paggawa ng pelikula.


Eh, after watching Caregiver ng madir niya, lalo pang na-inspired si KC sa paggawa ng movie na makabuluhan ang tema.
Sa pelikulang ito, nakatakdang mag-shoot sina KC at Richard sa Greece, ayon kay direk Joyce. Ten days silang magsu-shoot doon kaya pansamantala muna siyang hindi magdidirek ng number one fantaserye na Dyesebel. (JUN NARDO)

Richard, nagpadala ng cupcakes kay KC

NOONG Miyerkules ay late afternoon ang calltime ni Richard Gutierrez para sa taping ng Codename: Asero.

Tumawag siya sa akin kung pwedeng dumalaw muna siya sa shooting ni KC Concepcion.

Noong araw na iyon ang first shooting day ni KC at hindi muna kasama roon si Richard.

Sa Tagaytay ang alam kong location ni KC that day, pero hindi pala natuloy ‘yon. Sa may Ortigas Center at Aurora Blvd. sila nag- shooting.

Tracking shots ang kinunan sa Ortigas Center at hospital scenes sa Aurora Blvd.
Akala ko ay natuloy ang pagdalaw ni Richard sa shooting ni KC, pero nang makita ko ang dalaga sa birthday party ni Rufa Mae Quinto sa Philosophy Spa sa Makati noong Miyerkules nang gabi, naikuwento niyang hindi na nakapunta ang binata sa kanyang shooting.

“Kasalana ko. Nakatulog kasi ako sa sasakyan nang tatlong beses na nag-text si Richard para sabihing nasa Ortigas Center siya at pupunta sa shooting ko.

“Hindi ko siya nasagot, kaya hindi na siya nakadalaw sa shooting ko.
“He’s so sweet dahil kahit nasa taping na siya, nagawa niyang magpadala ng cupcakes sa shooting,” kuwento ni KC.

Light scenes lang ang kinunan kay KC noong Miyerkules.
Wala siyang ibang artistang nakaeksena.

Next week ang first shooting day together nina Richard at KC.
Sa tsikahan namin ni KC ay nabanggit niyang excited din siya para sa kanilang second movie together ni Richard under GMA Films dahil may mga eksenang kukunan sa Paris, France.

Sey ko kay KC, sasama ako sa Paris kahit sarili ko pang gastos.
“Sige, sige, masaya ‘yan. I’ll show you around,” pangako ni KC sa akin.

Pagkatapos ng spa party ni P-chi ay tumuloy ako sa taping ng Codename: Asero.
Dinatnan ko sa set sina Richard, Heart Evangelista at Janno Gibbs.

“Hello, Jun. Goodbye, Jun,” sey sa akin ni Janno na pack-up na pala at pauwi na.
Si Richard din ay pinak-up na rin dahil maaga pa ang flight namin kahapon papuntang Bangkok, Thailand.

Katatapos lang ang kunan sa binata ang isang madugong fight scene na involved ang maraming mga ‘sundalo’ sa eksena.

Malamang na sa first week ng Hulyo ipalalabas ang Codename: Asero.

KC-Richard, susuportahan ng fans ni Heart

HAPPY ang fans ni Richard Gutierrez sa dalawang bagong leading lady niya na sina KC Concepcion at Heart Evangelista.

Masaya rin ang fans ni KC na sila ni Richard ang magkapareha sa pelikula. Ang fans naman ni Heart ay suportado ang team-up nila sa telebisyon at si­mula na ito sa Codename: Asero.

Sabi ng fans ni Heart, susuportahan nila ang pelikula ni Richard na si KC ang kapareha dahil alam nilang very supportive ang binata kay Heart.

Nakakatuwa ang fans nina KC at Heart. Palagi akong nakatatanggap ng email messages mula sa kanila thanking me for supporting their idol.

Mukhang walang awayang nagaganap sa fans nina KC at Heart kahit parehong leading man ng dalawa si Richard.

Every ardent female fan dreams of only one thing: to get up close and personal with her showbiz idol. For the two lucky PEPsters who won a trip to the set of Kamandag last January 21, meeting celebrity heartthrob Richard Gutierrez was not only the realization of a long cherished dream. It was an experience of a lifetime.

The memorable event took place at Daranak Falls, a lush tropical paradise located in the heart of Tanay, Rizal, where the cast and crew were busy preparing for the explosive finale of the action-fantaserye.



LUCKY PEPSTERS. PEPsters Jane Roque, 21, accompanied by her classmate and co-Richard-fanatic Dianne dela Rosa, 22; and Emelina Cartagena, 53, who was with her sister-in-law Brown Mejia, 57, did not expect to win the PEP's "Meet-and-Greet" promo. Together with Fanatxt winner Montesa Canonico, 23, the group went to the Kamandag location for chitchat and photo ops with the cast.

"Hindi ko in-expect na mapili ako kasi niloko-loko ko lang ‘yun," laughed Jane, who's a nursing graduate. "Nung tinanong sa isang article kung sino daw ba yung star ng Kamandag, nag-comment ako," she continued. "Sabi ko, Si Richard, na anak ni Annabelle, na asawa ni Eddie Gutierrez, na... basta ganun. Hindi talaga seryoso. Kaya nagulat ako nung napili ako."


Emelina, on the other hand, stood in for her daughter Ivy, 26, who was originally picked among the thousands of hopefuls but couldn't make it to the set. As PEPsters would remember, Ivy was Dingdong Dantes's date in the previous promo. But it was actually a friend of hers who won the contest; Ivy was the lucky proxy.


"Hiniram lang ni Ivy yung cell phone ko kasi sira yung cell phone niya," the mother of three narrated. "Kaya nung may nagtext sa ‘kin, na sabi na nanalo daw ako, nagulat ako. Tapos nung dumating si Ivy, sabi niya, ‘Nay, sa akin ‘yan'."


According to Emelina, Ivy was busy with work, so she asked her mother and aunt to go in her stead.


"Sabi ko kasi, wala naman akong kasama, kaya kaming dalawa na lang," explained Emelina, referring to her sister-in-law.


Jane shared that she has always been a Kapuso and has watched Richard in all of his series on GMA7. Emelina seconded this, and confessed that she has also been a "solid Kapuso ever since."


When asked who among Richard's leading ladies they think looks best with the actor, both winners were quick to admit their choices. Emelina likes Marian Rivera in the romantic comedy My Best Friend's Girlfriend, while Jane prefers Angel Locsin in Mulawin.


Ever since the 24-year-old actor was launched as a teleserye prince in Mulawin and recognized as a talented thespian in both movie and television, the two PEPsters had always been among his tight followers. Both winners admitted that they have been fans of Richard since he starred in Click seven years ago.


PEP asked the two about their thoughts prior to meeting their idol, and both said that they felt nothing short of excitement. They truly looked forward to chatting with Richard and meeting him in the flesh.



THE SUPERFAN. Montesa, also a die-hard fan of the Kamandag star, shared that she, too, wasn't expecting to win the Fanatxt promo. "Nabigla ako nung tinawagan ako ni Ate Malen [Richard's and Ehra's handler in Fanatxt]. Hindi ko talaga in-e-expect na mapipili ako."


Working as a nanny to her niece, she admitted she had bouts of hesitation about going to the set, since she had tons of pending work.

For all her worries, the opportunity to meet her idol trumped the looming call of work. "Sa Lupin pa lang kasi idol ko na si Richard," Montesa giggled.


FIRST MEETING. At around two in the afternoon, the winners arrived on the set in a three-car convoy with representatives from PEP and Fanatxt. Since the set was situated in a real forest with real-life dangers, it wasn't easy for the promo winners who had to cross rocky rivers, walk through wooden planks, and balance themselves on rickety bamboo bridges in order to meet the cast. Still, with the thought of seeing their real-life superheroes in person, no risk could stop Jane and Emerlina from pursuing their dream.


The first meeting took place at the foot of the hill, where cars, trailer vans, and production equipment occupied the relatively spacious entrance. The winners waited patiently with digital cameras firmly in hand and smiles all over their excited faces, as Richard's silver van parked in front.


Moments later, the celebrity heartthrob appeared in a simple ensemble of track pants, black shirt, and sunglasses. He hailed the winners from the parked van and welcomed them. Richard flashed everyone a perfectly sweet smile, which the winners took as a cue to turn on their cameras and click away. A photo session followed and the winners each took a turn to flank their idol, and to chat with him for a short while. Since Richard had to prepare for his scenes, the young actor had to put the friendly conversation on hold, with a promise to meet again later.


All three winners were clearly starstruck. "Hay, ang guwapo ni Richard! Kilig to the bones!" exclaimed Emelina after meeting her idol for the first time. "Kahit may edad na kami, tuwang-tuwa kami makita!"


Jane also basked in the kilig experience and said that Richard is "very approachable and ang bango-bango!"



BONUS MEETINGS. After that first meeting with the matinee idol, the winners proceeded to the more secluded area of the set where the rest of the cast was stationed.


The uphill climb was quite an ordeal for the winners especially since the paths were narrow and steep, but much to PEP's surprise, they didn't mind it at all. Waiting at the top of the hill was StarStruck finalist Jewel Mische and actress-comedienne Alyssa Alano, whom the winners engaged in friendly conversation.


Jane admitted that aside from Richard, she liked Jewel Mische best because of her down-to-earth personality. Jewel even sent the winners several pictures of herself and Richard through her mobile phone's bluetooth application, much to the winners' delight.


"Sobrang friendly niya kasi, e. Parang friend mo lang siya ‘pag kausap," explained Jane.


After taking pictures with the two celebrities, the lucky winners went on to meet Ehra Madrigal and Ariel Rivera, who were on cue for their respective scenes.



ONCE IN A LIFETIME. The lucky winners were quick to admit that their idol was indeed a sight to behold. Richard not only looked dashing with his tall build and well-toned physique, he was always easy to approach and friendly as he joked around with his fans.


"Paano ka mag-aartista niyan kung mahiyain ka?" teased the young actor, when one of his fans said she dreamed of joining showbiz. Richard was very welcoming all throughout, and even laughed when asked whether he works out in a gym since he was looking so fit.


The winners smiled and laughed with their hunky idol, as their companions chronicled the much awaited meeting in their digicams.


At around five o'clock, the PEPsters ended their friendly banter with their idol, and left Tanay with big smiles etched on their faces.


PEP asked Jane and Emelina what they thought of the whole experience, from the two-hour ride to Tanay up to the final meeting on the set with Richard.


"Siyempre enjoy ako. Halos hindi na naman ako makakatulog niyan mamayang gabi, iimadyinin ko... ang pogi ng idol ko!" laughed Emerlina.


"Exciting at tiring pero nangingibabaw yung happiness kasi approachable yung mga tao sa set. Accommodating lalo na si Richard. Once in a lifetime experience lang ‘to, kaya hinding-hindi ko na makakalimutan." said Jane, as she munched on her snack on the way home.


Their message to PEP promo hopefuls who dream of meeting their idols up close?


"Comment lang nang comment and keep on visiting PEP," Jane said. Emelina interjected, "Oo, mag-try sila nang mag-try, para maranasan din nila ang naranasan namin."

Richard takes the backseat for mom

Richard Gutierrez is his generation’s matinee idol. He doesn’t mind playing support role, especially to his mom Annabelle Rama who is making a comeback via Regal Entertainment and GMA Films’ My Monster Mom, opposite real-life husband Eddie Gutierrez and only daughter Ruffa Gutierrez-Bektas.

Richard’s cameo in My Monster Mom is as irresistible as the Star Cinema movie where he co-stars with KC Concepcion. Besides, how can you say no to someone who bore you with utmost care for nine months and raises hell to come to your defense?

“It’s new and exciting,” says Richard of his latest family comedy movie. “I’m playing my dad. Actually, we share the same character. It’s a fun experience to work again with Rhian (Ramos) and direk Joey (Reyes). It is my first time to work with my ate, my dad and my mom. It’s not a dream movie but it is one I will cherish. My character’s appearance is short and minimal but it is fun.”

In My Monster Mom, Richard plays the young Waldo who is captivated by Esme’s beauty. As expected, he pursues the young lady until he wins her heart. Their love is blessed with a child named Abby who will be played by Ruffa when she turns out to be a cosmopolitan daughter of the older and wiser Waldo (Eddie) and Esme (Annabelle). The movie also revolves around the mother and daughter relationship of Abby and Esme as the latter reaches out to her Westernized child. My Monster Mom, says Richard, gives him the opportunity to see his parents and sister often and bond with them. It is also a breather from his hectic schedule. Also in the movie are JC de Vera, Mart Escudero, Bubbles Paraiso, Iwa Moto and Michelle Madrigal.

Although televiewers have seen GMA 7’s top male artist on telefantasya projects like Mulawin, Sugo, Captain Barbell and Kamandag, Richard makes sure he cooks up something different for his fans. One of his soon-to-be-released projects with GMA allows him to get involved creatively from writing the script to pre-production.

“I’ll play a normal human being this time around,” shares Richard. “It’s a love story with action. GMA executives give me the freedom to be involved and I can give suggestions on my character. Since I’ve been acting for years now, I think I know how the process works and what my audience wants.”

Is Richard afraid of getting stereotyped in action-fantasy TV series?

“That’s my momentum right now and I don’t want to break it,” he replies. “Drama scripts will always be there. While I’m still young and can do action scenes, I will do it. A lot of my fans want that, too.”

After five hit TV series and movies like Let the Love Begin, Mulawin The Movie, I Will Always Love You, The Promise and My Best Friend’s Wedding, Richard seems far from slowing down in exploring what he can offer. He couldn’t help but be thankful and look forward to better years in showbiz.

“I couldn’t ask for more,” says Richard who is now in Dubai to shoot his and Heart Evangelista’s opening scenes for Codename: Asero. “I’m working with the great minds, with the great network. They let me grow as an artist. There’s always pressure but I feel this is just the beginning.”

Part of Richard’s plans is to star in an indie movie and direct it. He says he wants to play an offbeat role which will challenge the actor in him. It might be the character that will give him his first acting award.

“I’m not rushing although it is one of my goals,” says Richard. “I’m just taking my time. The right project will come. (For my career) I’m open-minded about pairing with other actresses for as long as there’s chemistry. I don’t want to be tied down to just one leading lady. My career is constantly changing and so is my craft.”

Does his mom’s “monstrous” personality, meaning being strict and frank, work to his advantage?

“I don’t know. I’m not sure,” Richard answers. “She is always there for me. And I appreciate that. She’s been in the industry for so long and she knows the ins and outs. She loves me and my career.”

Sharon Cuneta approves KC Concepcion-Richard Gutierrez team-up

Isang bonggang-bonggang araw para kay Sharon Cuneta ang magaganap sa Linggo, May 11, sa ABS-CBN. Ilulunsad kasi sa araw na ‘yon ang worldwide premiere ng full trailer ng latest movie ng Megastar under Star Cinema na Caregiver, na mapapanood sa ASAP '08, The Buzz, at Sharon. Kasabay rin ng "Sharon Cuneta Day" sa Linggo ang selebrasyon ng Mother's day.

"Yeah, sa Sunday na. Ang bilis, ‘no?" sambit ni Sharon sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

Bukod sa promo ng Caregiver, may special plan ba sila ng pamilya nila ni Senator Francis "‘Kiko" Pangilinan para ipagdiwang ang Mother's day?

"Pag Mother's day, ‘yan ang hindi ko alam kung ano'ng mangyayari. Tsaka ninenerbiyos ako. Nae-excite ako, pero ninenerbiyos ako."

Bakit ganun ang pakiramdam niya?

"Parang iniisip ko, 'Naalala kaya ng mga anak ko Mother's day ngayon? Big deal kaya sa kanila yun? Sana alam nila big deal sa akin ‘to.' Yun ang lagi kong iniisp. So usually naman, may mga letters. Hindi uso sa amin yung nag-e-exchange gifts kami ng mahal, e. Kahit 'pag Pasko, kahit na anniversaries, parang agreement namin ni Kiko yun na walang expensive gifts. Pero bibilhan niya ako kahit papaano."

KC IN PARIS. Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa Paris, France pa ang panganay na anak ni Sharon na si KC Concepcion.

"She missed kasi Paris very much. Apat na taon nga naman ang buhay niya doon siya, so every year, she wants to go. So yun, umalis siya, nagbakasyon siya sandali," lahad ng Megastar.

KC-RICHARD MOVIE. Pagbalik ni KC from Paris ay sisimulan na niya ang shooting para sa kanyang first ever movie with Richard Gutierrez sa Star Cinema. Ano ang masasabi ni Sharon dito?

"Very, not only excited, but very proud," ngiti ni Sharon.

Natutuwa si Sharon dahil KC has made a mark on her own.

"Exactly, this is parang, in a way, it's history making because the two rival networks went beyond themselves. They became bigger that they were to make it possible for these two kids come together and make a movie. At natutuwa ako because even if KC, sabi ko nga, from the moment she was conceived, wala siyang choice. Kawawa naman yung bata, di ba?

"Pero si Richard Gutierez has really made his own mark. He has carried his own shows very successfully, kahit na sabihin mo with ample support, siya yung headliner. Tapos he has made movies din na kumita. I mean, hindi mo makukuwestiyon yung kanyang drawing power. So, there's no doubt makakatulong siya sa anak ko.

"Plus, the boy is very decent. Yung hindi mo... After a while siguro, pati kayo, manu-notice ninyo, mahihiya kayong gawan ng anggulo kung wala. Kasi kung meron, okay. Kung wala, wala. Kasi hindi siya yung tipikal na artistang guwapo, parang mabibilang mo ang mga babaeng nakapila. Sa pagkakakilala ko, sa pagkukuwento sa akin ng mga taong malalapit sa kanya at kay KC mismo, hindi siya ganun. So ito, very clear sa kanilang dalawa.

"Siguro kasi, iba na ang mga bata ngayon kahit na artista. At least the two of them, it's very clear to them na ang priorities nila ay ang career nila. So parang there's no time if I can't give this much to ano, we're not gonna get to that point. Parang at this point, at least ang ganda ng ano nila, they're very professional.

"Tapos, I know he's [Richard] very decent. Kasi kapatid siya ni Tonton [Gutierrez]. Kausap ko si Ton, di ba? Tapos ano, huwag na tayong lumayo kasi anak siya ni Tito Eddie [Gutierrez] at ni Tita Annabelle [Rama], na I think long before many years ago pa, abot-langit ang pagmamahal ko sa pamilya nila because si Ruffa, I met her when she was 11. We never really got to spend every single day together, pero at all these time, I had always have special fondness for her.

"And now, I met sina Richard, Raymond... Especially Richard, parang I'm very happy na for my daughter's very first movie and her formal entry into show business, it's Richard Gutierrez and no one else. I'm very happy. And this will also make her more excited doing movies with the other big stars from ABS-CBN," mahabang pahayag ni Sharon.

KISSING & LOVE SCENES. Aprub ba sa Megastar na magkaroon ng kissing scene si KC sa first movie niya?

"Wala akong problema kahit ano'ng gusto nilang gawin," sagot niya.

What about love scene sa first movie ni KC?

"Alam mo, my daughter is 23, grumadweyt 'yan ng 22 siya. Wala akong naging problema kay KC. Ang pangit sabihin ng mga words, pero hindi naglandi ang anak ko, hindi nag-adik. Walang ganun. So parang after she graduated, alam mo yung she earned my trust, e. Kasi yung trust naman, you don't automatically give it, e. You give it at a certain extent. Pero dahil bata pa at mapusok, di ba?

"Lahat tayo dumaan diyan, natatakot ka. And she earned it. She earned my respect. I told her after she graduated, ‘You can do anything you want.' In the end, ang gusto mo lang pala, maligaya ang anak mo."

Kaya hindi raw totoo ang kumalat na tsismis na minsan ay iniyakan diumano ni Sharon ang mga desisyon ni KC gaya nung nag-pictorial siya nang naka-two piece.

"Tawang-tawa kami doon," sabi ni Sharon. "Si KC kasi, very ano, sinasali niya ako. Kunyari she did this campaign for a clothing line, di ba? Yung mga billboard na nakikita ninyo na naka-two piece siya, merong lumabas yata sa tabloid galit na galit ako. Actually, tawang-tawa ako. Sabi ko, ‘Hindi anak, sabihin mo tuwang-tuwa ako. Dahil ang nanay mo napakatanga nung araw lumabas sa P.S. I Love You, nasa beach, naka-maong!'

"Parang may nagtatanong na, ‘Pinapayagan ninyo ang anak ninyo na mag-pose?' Sabi ko, ‘Bakit, ano ba ang suot mo sa beach? Ikaw ba ay nagte-turtleneck o naglo-long gown?' Siyempre hindi, di ba? Alam mo, kung ikaw ay kaedad nila ngayon at kahit 30 ka pa, even if you're a teenager at hindi ganun kakitid ang utak mo, maiintindihan mo. Ikaw lang ang naglalagay ng malisya. So, lumalabas ngayon napakamalisyoso ninyo. Kasi kung lalangoy ka sa dagat o sa pool, yun naman ang suot mo.'

"Ang nakakatawa, actually, hindi nga ako titigil hangga't hindi ako umaabot sa katawan na yun at wala kaming pictorial pareho na naka-two-piece. So, sorry po, abangan ninyo ‘yan. Alam na ni Kiko ‘yan. Ang asawa ko, understanding ‘yan, supportive ‘yan, e. Kasi nag-e-enjoy siya!" natatawang sabi ni Sharon.

SHARON-GABBY PART 2? Sa first movie ni Sharon nakilala niya ang ama ni KC na si Gabby Concepcion. Hindi kaya magkaroon ng Part 2 ang Sharon-Gabby love story in real life kina KC at Richard?

"Hindi naman. Matagal na bago pa na-develop. Virgin na virgin ako noon!" tawa ni Sharon. "Anything can happen. She can meet Prince William tomorrow. She can marry Richard tomorrow. She can marry Piolo [Pascual]. She can marry whomever. She can marry even Robin Padilla, pero huwag naman Lord!" halakhak niya.

"You don't know what will happen," patuloy niya. "But she has a good head on her shoulders, she has very good head on her shoulders. She has other priorities. I think ang layo ng kaibahan ng panahon ko nung 15 ako sa kanya noon. Fifteen ako noon, 23 siya. May degree siya. Nakita niya kung gaano kalaki ang mundo. Tumira siya sa ibang bansa. I didn't have those opportunities. At her age, 23, hiwalay na ako noon sa asawa. May anak na ako na...how old was she? Almost four years old? Nagtatrabaho na ako. I was growing up while I was raising a child. I don't want her to go through that and thank God she's okay."

SEVEN-YEAR MOMENTS. Naikuwento rin ni Sharon na every seven years ay may malaking pangyayari na nagaganap sa buhay niya.

"So far, na-notice ko lang yun... Kasi, di ba, 12 years old, I did ‘Mr. DJ'? So okay lang, 12. But when I was 14, which is seven years after seven, I did my first George Canseco song which is ‘Langis at Tubig,' which was the theme song of the movie of Ate Vi [Vilma Santos], Dindo Fernando, and Amy Austria na idinirek ni Danny Zialcita. And this was the song, di ba, first Canseco song? Big deal.

"Ito yung naging theme song noon na si Ate Vi naman na buntis kay Luis [Manzano]. She couldn't go to the Cebu Film Festival. Ako yung napakiusapang sumakay ng float. Doon sa Cebu ako nakita nila Direk Danny at doon in-offer sa Mommy ko at sa akin yung Dear Heart. Tapos sabi ni Direk Danny, ‘Pag hindi niya [Sharon] ginawa ‘to, hindi ko gagawin ang movie na ‘to forever kasi it's really for her.' So, doon in-offer yun.

"Tapos 35, about less than a month before I turned 35, I had Frankie after two miscarriages. And now, seven years after that I'm 42, so I don't know... This can go either way kasi merong good, merong bad. Di ba, 21 naghiwalay; 14 positive; 28 I met Kiko; 35 before that, I lost babies but in the end okay naman. Lagi naman si Lord ang ending ko, maganda kaya sana magtuluy-tuloy na," asam ni Sharon.

Dahil sa biglang pagpasok ng pelikulang unang pagtatambalan nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion sa bakuran ng Star Cinema—the first ex-deal between GMA Films and ABS-CBN's film arm—na-move naman first movie team-up sana nina Dingdong Dantes at Marian Rivera, kung saan kasama rin nila si Iza Calzado.

Mula sa isang insider sa GMA Films, napag-alaman ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na totoo raw na ang original playdate sana ng movie nina Dingdong, Marian, at Iza may tentative title na Amnesia ay sa August of this year.

Ayon pa sa aming source, nang i-announce ang mga naka-lineup na pelikula ng GMA Films this year, August ang sinabing playdate ng Amnesia dahil magandang regalo raw ito para sa tatlong bida. Nagkataon kasing August celebrants silang lahat. Si Dingdong ay August 2 ang birthday habang sina Marian and Iza naman ay parehong sa August 12.

Obviously, hindi na matutuloy na sa August ipalabas ang Amnesia, na supposed to be ay ngayong May sana ang simula ng shooting. Pero na-move na raw ito sa June.

Instead na August, malamang daw na by September na ang showing nito to give way to the Richard-KC movie na solong ipo-produce ng Star Cinema, contrary sa ilang naglalabasang reports na co-produced ito ng Star Cinema at GMA Films. Iba naman daw kasi ang ex-deal na ang GMA Films ang magiging solong producer ng isa pang Richard-KC movie na malamang na ipalabas early next year.

Mukhang sa mga pangyayari, kahit parehong sinasabi nina Richard at Dingdong sa mga interview nila na hindi sila naaapektuhan at wala silang problema, hindi maiiwasan ang tapatan nila at maintriga sila sa isa't isa. Walang duda na sa bakuran ng Kapuso network, silang dalawa ang itinuturing na most important lead actors at pareho ring may guaranteed contracts sa GMA-7.

Tuloy na tuloy na ang pagtatambal nina Richard Gutierrez at KC Concepcion sa pelikula. Ito ang kinumpirma ng Star Cinema sa report ng ABS-CBN News ngayong gabi, May 2, sa TV Patrol World.

Pumirma na kaninang hapon si Richard ng one-picture deal sa Star Cinema. Kasama ng young actor ang kanyang ina at manager na si Annabelle Rama.

Nagsimula ang usap-usapan tungkol sa pagtatambal nina Richard at KC nang pumirma ng three-picture deal si KC sa Star Cinema last Wednesday, April 30. Hindi man siya nagbigay ng kumpirmasyon, nagbigay ng pahiwatig si KC na si Richard ang magiging leading man niya sa una niyang pelikula.

Nang tanungin kasi siya tungkol sa kanyang first leading man, ito lang ang binitawan niyang salita: "Siguro po ang masasabi ko riyan, ipinaglaban naming dalawa." (Click here to read full story.)

Marami ang nagsasabi na imposibleng magkatambal sina Richard at KC dahil nakakontrata sila sa magkalabang networks at film companies; si Richard sa GMA-7 at GMA Films samantalang si KC sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema.

Pero dahil na rin siguro sa matinding clamor mula sa mga tagahanga nina Richard at KC na pagsamahin sila sa isang pelikula, nagkaroon ng katuparan ang maitututring na "dream project" na ito.

Hindi nagbigay ng detalye ang TV Patrol World tungkol sa negosasyong naganap sa pagitan ng kampo ni Richard at ng Star Cinema, o kung gagawa rin ba ng pelikula si KC sa ilalim ng GMA Films. Pero matatandaang nagbigay ng feelers ang GMA Films sa Star Cinema na willing silang makipag-co-produce para sa proyektong pagsasamahan nina Richard at KC.

Sa contract signing ni KC ay sinabi niya na sobrang excited siya sa mga naka-lineup na pelikula niya sa Star Cinema dahil marami raw silang sorpresang ihahandog sa mga manonood. Ang pagtatambal nila ni Richard, na balitang nanliligaw rin kay KC, ang tinutukoy na isa sa mga sorpresa ng young actress.

Kinumpirma rin ng managing director ng Star Cinema na si Ms. Malou Santos na isa si Richard sa pinagpipilian nilang maging leading man ni KC.

Sisimulan ang shooting ng pelikula nina Richard at KC sa June, pagbalik ng young actress mula sa pagbabakasyon niya sa Paris, France.
