IN addition to the well-machined publicity for the team-up of today’s young superstars Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion, the success of their movie “For the First Time” is attributed to their chemistry on and off the screen.
As mentioned in previous column, they have already established their friendship by the way they treat each other – so comfortable and sincere. And that makes them “kilig” to the moviegoers.
If the overflowing support for the movie’s premiere night last Tuesday is the barometer of its success at the box office, the producers are already assured of a good return on their investments. But actually, it’s the right attitude of the two that makes this movie a mega hit.
It is so admirable for someone like Richard thanking his home studio for allowing him to guest in the rival network via A.S.A.P last Sunday. No doubt that he is blessed for he is very grateful to those responsible for where he is now.
But what is this issue that his mom Annabelle Rama is fuming mad at Kapuso for mounting the Dingdong Dantes-Marian Rivera birthday concert on the first day showing of the Richard-KC movie. To quote the text message of one of our readers (published as is), "To GMA 7 would be equal naman po kayo long nman po ang b-day nla marian and Dingdong, 27 BKT nga ba ang celebrate. You naman cla 17 nanadya really would be naman fear you, they fan I chard and marian, if c Richard moved across the kawawa naman 7 no longer have cute and cute and immature, like chard, sexbomb you would not change, we idol you here in Davao. Thank you. "
