IS it imperative for a Valentine movie to have an intense love story the way film director Mark Reyes wants it to be? So in GMA Films-Regal Entertainment’s joint offering, “My Girlfriend’s Best Friend,” starring today’s hottest personalities, Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera, the two lead stars agreed to do an all-out, intensity-filled love story.
Richard’s mother, Annabelle Rama, finds Marian a perfect leading lady for his son. Marian, for her part, finds Richard as a thoughtful, perfect gentleman, very handsome and caring. Even if Richard has Jewel Mische as his rumor ka-MU (mutual understanding), there’s still the big possibility that Chard and Marian who are both free could fall in love with each other.
According to Regal matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde, this is the best Valentine movie they ever did. It has more ‘kilig’ moments, very romantic and has a tandem composed of two big stars of today. “My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend (BFGF)” isn’t an ordinary love story for the young and adults alike.
Marian admits that she has had three ex-boyfriends already, excluding Mark Herras. She clarifies that she and Mark were never on, although at one point, they were in the MU process already. Something happened along the way, and he dropped his chances.
