RICHARD: SO MUCH TO THANK FOR

JUST like his Ate Ruffa, Richard Gutierrez has much to be thankful for this year so they’re combining forces with twin brod Raymond to give a special thanksgiving party. “It’s our way of giving back to the people who help us, especially the press,” he says. He’s grinning from ear to ear these days as his “Kamandag” soars high in the ratings. Everyone who sees it praises the engaging storyline and the inventive direction of Mark Reyes and Topel Lee. In the running story, Vergel (Richard) is hunted by cops and Lily (Maxene Magalona) defends him by saying she doesn’t know who owns the incriminating bracelet actually owned by Vergel who she loves secretly. Lucero (Mark Anthony Fernandez) also tries to save Vergel from the police. Meantime, Haring Budog (Johnny Delgado) of the bulls decides to give the armor of Haring Saban (Gardo Versoza) of the snakes to its rightful heir, Vergel aka Kamandag. But Haring Gulag (Zoren Legaspi) of the wolves sends a monster, Bakum, to kill Vergel. Bakum kidnaps Jenny (Jewel Mische) and Vergel has to save her, killing Bakum. Jenny develops a crush on Kamandag not knowing he is also Vergel. This peeves Lucero and he wants to fight with Kamandag. When the cops arrest Vergel, Lucero helps him escape. Meantime, the evil Abdon (Ariel Rivera) notices the beauty of Ditas (Ehra Madrigal) and tries to rape her, if not for the timely arrival of Lucero. In the land of Ambugraw, Alicia (Eula Valdes) hears about Kamandag and asks Budog if her child with Saban is still alive. Could it be Kamandag? The plot thickens everyday so don’t miss each exciting episode of “Kamandag”.
