February 25 to 29, 2008: Hard Choices
Article posted February 22, 2008
Who should Vergel pick: the woman he loved who turned him away, or the woman who has been there for him since the beginning?
The heart proved to be the most powerful of all last week in Kamandag.
Vergel reunited with the family he never knew, as well as learned that his childhood best friend had feelings for him beyond friendship. And at his mother’s prodding, Vergel forced himself to choose only one of the two women he loved, and he picked Lily.
Unfortunately for the hero, Lily saw him with Jenny--and she thought that he only picked her out of pity.
Meanwhile, Alicia’s life remained in danger as the Ambogs had become desperate that she be returned to the underworld. With Ragona breathing fire down their necks, the Ambogs must learn where the fire-wielding half-human’s missing child was--or Ambograw will burn.
Ikoy was another whose life became endangered. When he didn’t bring in the cash to a local fair expected by his captors, they decide to kill him and sell him to the highest bidding scientist.
And with Ditas under Abdon’s control, he realized he no longer had any need for his good-for-nothing son, Lucero.
What dangers will Kamandag face in the coming week? Follow the trail of the half-man, half-snake every weeknight on Carlo J. Caparas’ Kamandag after the supernatural adventures of Joaquin Bordado.
